Born in Jecheon in 1999, Hyunji Park graduated from the MA Film-making Department at Goldsmiths University of London, where she studied directing fiction. She has directed several short films and music video including 'Cuckoo', 'Baraye', 'Gown', 'Attention to me', and 'Can I Just Say Something'.
The short documentary 'Gown' was funded by National heritage lottery fund, and screened at the Rose Theatre in Kingston as a part of the global thread exhibition. It is now being used as educational video on Tamil culture in the Kingston Museum as a permanent feature.
Currently residing in London, she is in the process of writing a film titled 'Mould,' inspired by a concept that she has been ruminating on for a very long time.
She loves making terrariums, and cinema. When she sees an overturned moss patch, she cannot pass it by until she has flipped it upright, because it's too horrible to see them dry up on the street, they just need a little helping hand !
